My name is Matthew Dean. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based out of Richmond, Virginia. I offer counseling services to individuals ages 18 and up.

I am passionate about working with adults who want to be curious about how their past stories shape their current experience.

My goal is to offer curiosity, tenderness, and care for your stories while inviting your body to freely feel. I look forward to joining you on the road to healing and growth.

I offer counseling/therapy to individuals 18 years and up looking for help dealing with LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, and working through their spiritual journey.

I am EMDR trained and pull from emotion focused modalities including but not limited to Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Parts Work, and somatic experiences.

I am currently in network with the following commercial insurance plans: Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Aetna.
